그 문은 닫혔다!

오늘 아침에 잠을 깬 직후에 나는 닫혀 있는 거대한 문을 보는 아주 짧은 환상을 보았다

 

그 환상을 본 후에 너무 짧았고 빨랐기 때문에 나는 그 생각을 너무 많이 하지 않았다

 

늦은 아침에서야 이 환상이 내 머릿속에 떠올랐다

 

나는 눈을 감고 그 경험을 다시 체험했다 

 

두 개의 금속판이 달린 미닫이문을 상상해 보라

 

한 칸은 왼쪽에서 다른 칸은 오른쪽에서 나왔다

 

나무판처럼 생겼지만 강철로 만든 것 같았고 매우 무거웠다

 

크기라면 출발하기 전에 닫히는 화물칸 문이 있는 유람선을 상상해 보라

 

커다란 두 금속판이 있었고 가운데에서 두 금속판이 만나자마자 문은 쿵하고 큰 소리를 내며 닫혔다

 

너무 무거워서 땅바닥에서 먼지와 먼지를 일으키고 문이 닫히는 순간까지 계속 움직였다

 

나는 문을 닫힌 노아의 방주 문 같다는 느낌을 받았다

 

그 환상을 다시 본 후에 나는 눈을 떴고 앉아 있는 곳에서는 디지털 시계를 똑바로 보고 있었다 

 

눈을 뜬 순간 정확히 11시 11분이었다

 

나는 이것이 자기 설명이라고 생각하지만 우리가 여기 있고 입으로 숨을 쉬고 있는한 계속 기도할 수 있다는 것을 상기시키는 또 다른 교훈이다

 

어느 순간 예수님이 할 수 있도록 하시는 기도가 우리가 할 수 있는 최소한의 일이 아니라 우리가 할 수 있는 최선의 일이라고 말한 것이 기억난다

 

그리스도 안에 있는 형제자매들을 사랑하기를 기도하라

 

에이브러햄 링컨호에 탑승한 젊은이들과 여성들이 너무 늦기 전에 회개하기를 기도하라

 

아무도 기도하지 않고 회개하지 않는 마음을 가진 모든 사람들을 위해 기도하라

 

잃어버린 영혼들을 위해 자비를 베풀어 달라고 기도하라

 

아멘.

 

The Door closed!

Today right after I woke up I had a very brief vision about a gigantic door 

that closed. Since the vision was so brief and quick I did not think too much 

of it, until later in the morning when this vision came back to my mind. 

I closed my eyes and relived the experience. Imagine a sliding door with two 

panels. One panel came from the left and the other one came from the right. 

They looked like wooden panels, but they seemed to be made out of steel 

and were very heavy. In term of size imagine a cruise ship that has a cargo 

door that closes before it departs.

Those two panels were big. As the two panels met in the middle they shut 

close with a loud thud. Since they were so heavy they stirred up dust and 

dirt from the ground up the second the door closed. I felt it looked like the 

door of the ark of Noah that closed. After seeing that vision all over again 

I opened my eyes, and from where I was sitting my face was looking straight 

at a digital clock. The time was exactly 11:11 the second I opened my eyes.

I think this is self-explanatory, but it is another reminder that as long as we 

are here and there is breath in our mouths we can continue to pray.

At some point I remember someone saying Jesus made the point that prayer 

is not the least thing we can do, it is the most we can do. Pray for the unsaved 

loves ones of all your brothers and sisters in Christ. Pray for the young men 

and women aboard the Abraham Lincoln, that they will repent before it is too 

late. Pray for all those with an unrepentant heart that don’t have anyone 

praying from them. Pray for mercy for all the lost souls. Amen.
